This modern one bedroom apartment is in Kypseli, central Athens. It is 54 sq.m and features a cozy living room and an open space kitchen. The apartment is on the 1st floor of the building, in a quiet street. The biggest advantage of the apartment is its central location, making it easy to explore the city, the museums and all sightseeing highlights of Athens. It is very easy to get around by metro, bus or trolley. The city center is 10 minutes on the metro.

Please respect the house as if it was yours.
Try not to disturb the neighbors and don’t make loud noises in common areas of the building (entrance, hallways, staircase etc.).
Please keep it down between 10.30pm and 6.30 am and also between 2.30pm and 5.00pm (these are our “quiet times”).
Please make sure you always close the main entrance door when leaving or coming back.
Before leaving the apartment, make sure you have turned off the a/c, heating, boiler, oven and any other devices.
Do not leave the boiler on for more than 30 minutes. That is enough time for plenty of hot water.
Please do not throw paper or feminine products in the toilet as that will block the pipes. Use the bin instead.
Smoking is only allowed in the balcony.
No parties or drugs.
No pets are allowed in the apartment.

The Neighborhood
Kypseli is an urban, ethnic neighborhood in central Athens, Greece. The apartment is near Victoria train station and Alexandras Avenue with easy access to the metro and local buses. There is a large park less than 200m away from the flat and a supermarket, café, bank as well as many restaurants in the vicinity; all within 5-10 minutes’ walk.
Close to Victoria Metro (about 15 minutes’ walk from the apartment), you will find the Hellenic Motor Museum that hosts an impressive collection of cars. The National Archaeological museum is 1km away (15’ walk) and the historical Fokionos Negri is 6’ away. This is a pedestrian street around a park; very popular for locals as well. There are many cafes, bars and sit-in/take away restaurants there.
Panormou and Ambelokipi are nearby suburbs you can also visit, both famous for their nightlife.Mount Lycabettus is about 3 km away and is worth visiting to admire a panoramic view of Athens from higher ground.
Getting around
By Metro: The nearest stop “Victoria” is 15’ away.
By bus: The nearest bus station “Scholi Evelpidon” is 1’ walk from the apartment and serves bus 035. You can also walk to Alexandras Avenue to catch a bus. There are many buses and trolleys passing from there (Alexandras Avenue is about 13’ walk from the apartment).
By Taxi: If you need to get a taxi, you can easily find one on the main streets around the flat or use the app BEAT
Getting to the apartment from Athens International Airport: Take the metro from the Airport. The nearest stop is “Victoria”. From there, you can walk to the apartment.
Getting to the apartment from Piraeus Port: Take the metro from the port. The nearest stop is “Victoria”. From there, you can walk to the apartment.
Getting to Athens City Centre from the apartment: You can easily get to the City center using the metro to go to Sintagma Square. From Sintagma you can then take the metro (one stop) or walk (10’) to the Akropolis of Athens.
There are a few companies operating hop on, hop off sightseeing buses that run regularly. You can catch one from Sintagma Square.
