House Rules
Dear Guests,
Please respect the house as if it was yours.
Try not to disturb the neighbors and don’t make loud noises in common areas of the building (entrance, hallways, staircase etc.).
Please keep it down between 10.30pm and 6.30 am and also between 2.30pm and 5.00pm (these are our “quiet times”).
Please make sure you always close the main entrance door when leaving or coming back.
Before leaving the apartment, make sure you have turned off the a/c, heating, boiler, oven and any other devices.
Do not leave the boiler on for more than 30 minutes. That is enough time for plenty of hot water.
Please do not throw paper or feminine products in the toilet as that will block the pipes. Use the bin instead.
Smoking is only allowed in the balcony.
No parties or drugs.
No pets are allowed in the apartment.
Thank you for understanding.
Enjoy your stay!
The Neighborhood
Marousi is a residential northern suburb of Athens. The apartment is close to the Olympic Athletic Centre and at the commercial heart of Marousi with the three largest shopping Malls around it. If you like shopping, but you would rather avoid the busy city Centre, this apartment is for you.
The apartment is 13’ on foot from the Mall Athens. This is one of the largest shopping and leisure centers in Southeastern Europe and there you will find everything you need in terms of shopping, eating, cinema etc. Avenue Mall and Golden Hall are about 30’ away. The apartment is also very close to IVF clinics and three hospitals (Ygeia, Iaso, Mitera).
Chalandri and Kifissia are nearby suburbs worth visiting, famous for the nightlife and the shopping. The central location of the apartment makes it easy to catch a bus or the metro to go downtown and explore the city centre and other suburbs of Athens.
The flat is also convenient for business travelers, as there are numerous multinational companies nearby and a large exhibition center (HELEXPO).
Getting around
By metro: The nearest metro Station is Eirini (M1) which is 3’ on foot from the apartment. There is another station “Neratziotissa” 15’ away (this is also a Suburban Railway station).
By bus: The nearest bus station is 4’ on foot, next to the Metro Station. It serves bus 500. There is another bus station on Kifissias Avenue about 25’ from the apartment. This one serves buses 550, A7, E14, X14.
Due to the location of the apartment it is far more convenient to use the metro.
By Taxi: If you need to get a taxi, you can walk to Kimis Avenue or use the app BEAT
Getting to the apartment from Athens International Airport: Take the suburban railway to “Neratziotissa”. From there you can either walk or change lines to “Eirini” (it is only one stop).
Getting to the apartment from Piraeus Port: Take the metro (M1- green line) and disembark at “Eirini”. It is about 3 minutes on foot from there to the apartment.
Getting to Athens City Centre from the apartment: You can take the metro (M1) and then change line in Omonoia (M2) to get to Sintagma Square. The same line continues to the Acropolis.
An alternative route is to take the metro (M1) and disembark at Monastiraki Station. Sintagma Square (and all the historic sights) are about 10’ walk from there. From Sintagma Square you can also catch a hop on- hop off tour bus.
